Its the first break that we have had that we didn't want to leave. Steve and I really enjoyed our five days at the Canasta. Breakfasts were excellent and it was always service with a smile whether in the restaurant or in the evenings at the bar no matter how busy the staff were.
Doug - Your help in guiding us to the various restaurants and places we wished to visit was much appreciated - as were the little maps you so expertly drew for us :-)
I would recommend your hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Blackpool - we would definitely stay at the Canasta again - but I think I might invest in some singing lessons first so as not to become a "party pooper". I did enjoy the "entertainment" tho.
